Well what an amazing week we have had. Our colonias trip has been fantastic. I have never been more proud of our Richmond children than I was during our residential trip. We had a brilliant time and it was a pleasure and a privilege to experience this excursion with them.
We had the opportunity to take part in many different activities from quad biking to archery. The children had a great time. I would like to say a big well done to my Year 1 students, who not only behaved impeccably, but also managed to spend the night away from home with the older children and were determined to prove how mature they are.
Year 2, what can I say? You were awesome, not only did you conduct yourselves better than I could have imagined, you also made sure your fellow Year 1 classmates were happy and settled when they arrived.
During our time in Can Putxet, we enjoyed many activities. The children particularly enjoyed the quad bikes and also the farm. The children had the chance to interact with a variety of different animals and gain knowledge about their origin. We participated in climbing, various sports activities and also indoor team building and social skills events. I think I can safely say the highlight was the disco. It gave our little dancers a chance to shine.
Once again I would like to say a huge thankyou to the children and also to Miss Tammy, Mr Raimon, Miss Claire and Anna. We made a great team.
As usual, WELL DONE YEARS 1 AND 2!
