Richmond Kids Learn the Cornet

It’s a train? a boat? an elephant? No!! It’s year 5 playing trumpet.

We are practicing cornet in Year 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9. We’ll study brass instruments until February. This is a warm-up exercise…

They know how to hold the instrument and they can play some notes, so now we are looking to improve the sound of the instrument. They’ll read songs really soon… I can’t wait for it! Let’s start a Richmond brass band!!

We have enough instruments for the practice lessons, but it could be great if every student had a mouthpiece to practice at home. And some students are really good in music… they deserve a cornet!

My recommendation:

And if they have a cornet, you and your neighbours will love to buy a mute, as well: http://www.thomann.de/es/denis_wick_dw5526.htm

or a cheaper one:

Let’s play!
