Year 2 Weekly Roundup, Term 1, Weeks 1 and 2

Year 2 have had a very busy two weeks. They have been working extremely hard and have made a fantastic start to the new scholastic year.

We have been investigating a great amount of new topics including The Great Fire of London, oceans and seas, the human body and also a variety of new numeracy and literacy techniques.

The new students who have joined the group are working very hard and I am very proud of them. It is always difficult to join a new school and I am also proud of the way the existing students have made them feel welcome.

I think we are ready for an amazing year.

Week 1

A big welcome back to everyone old and new!

What an amazing week for Year 2. They have jumped right in to the program of work and have adapted to life back at school very well.

The children have been refreshing their maths skills this week, ready to move on to the challenges ahead. They are enjoying the topic work and are completing work to a high standard.

A massive well done Year 2!
